A friends new trailer was stolen and parked nearby, apparently waiting to see if it had a tracking device.

The hitch lock they had was made of cast aluminum and broken with one blow of a 3 LB. or so sledge.

I'm thinking the criteria for a hitch lock would be "unable to carry with one hand".
